WEDDING LIVE STREAMING HYDERABAD
Using Zoom for your Wedding? Here are our tips for the best experience!
Connecting to family and musketeers using the drone meeting platform is delightful and easy! still there are a couple of specialized considerations that should be taken care of before the event to insure you have a awful and glitch-free drone meeting experience. Please check out our list of stylish practices below!
Before the Meeting
It’s always best to plug in using an ethernet cable. Wifi is the 2nd best option, followed by a cellular connection. You can go to www.speedtest.net to test your internet connection. You should have at least a 2.5mbs download and upload speed.
- Close unnecessary tabs in your browser, close unnecessary applications and turn off notifications such as Email or messaging
- Login to the Zoom application using your personal login info the day before the event. Make sure that you can connect your audio and video in the application. That way you will be ready to join the meeting on the day of the event by clicking on the link in the zoom invite that was sent to you.
- Tips for testing your video and audio connections before the event:
- There are video and audio preferences that you can adjust to match your setup, choose your webcam, etc… These are most easily accessed by clicking on the disclosure triangle next to the audio and video options at the bottom of the screen. Most of you will be using the built in camera and microphone of your laptop, tablet, cell phone or computer.
- Use a headset with a built-in microphone if possible for the best experience
- If you have any issues connecting with Zoom, please visit the Zoom technical support website at this link to view videos on how to use Zoom: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/206618765
- Very limited technical support will be available during the Ceremony from the Video Production company. Please be sure to review these instructions and connect with the Zoom platform at least a day before the event.
- The host will start the Zoom meeting 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. If you try to login before, you will not be able to access the meeting.
- Position your camera properly
- Lighting should come from in front of you or from the side, in order to best light your face. Try not to have a window or sunlight behind you. Keep your background clear of distractions
- Limit distractions
You can make it easier to focus on the meeting by turning off notifications, closing or minimizing running apps, and muting your smartphone.
During the Meeting
- Look at your webcam, not at the screen
- Be yourself! Use gestures and mannerisms that you would typically use in person
- If you want to speak at the end of the ceremony, click on the participants icon at the bottom of the screen. A window will open with various non-verbal feedback options. Click on the “raise your hand” icon and the host will unmute those with their hands raised. See picture below for more info:
For those of you that are scheduled to speak during the ceremony:
- The host will connect with you 30 minutes before the event begins through Zoom to ensure he can see and hear you. Please be ready to login to the meeting 30 minutes before the event time. The host will make you co-hosts so that you can easily be found by him during the zoom meeting.
- The host will unmute you when it is your turn. You will get a notification that says that the host is asking you to unmute. Once you unmute, you can begin speaking.
